The purpose of WikIT is to provide a resource to help in taming the torrent of information that knowledge workers have to deal with now.  All entries that contribute to achieving that purpose in a clear and factual way that follow the policies below are welcome.

Other than that, please do not add descriptions of mind or concept mapping '''''software''''' to WikIT.  This is a techniques site, not a product directory.  Anyway it would seem like a pointless duplication when there is already a site that covers this very extensively and in a neutral way at [http://www.mind-mapping.org/ mind-mapping.org].  An exception to this would be when a particular kind of mind mapping software offers something that '''others do not''' and you want to describe how to achieve something that would otherwise be difficult or impossible.
