Map wars
Most of the references in WikIT are to “mind maps” and WikIT adopts the prevalent use of this term.
The Information Maps area of WikIT is intended to be a useful resource to the mind-mapping world. If you disagree with the terminology, the place to go is the discussion tab of this page
Please confine discussion about which maps are “best”, whether “mind mappers” should recognize history, or whether “mind maps” should be used to describe only Buzan-style mind maps to that page as well.
Use that location also if you think concept maps are useless, or maybe mind maps are a waste of time, or everything but a bubble chart is worthless.
On the main pages of WikIT, please make out reasoned, positive cases for your favorite map type’s suitability in specific circumstances, not negative cases about other map types.
