TRIZ is a method for generating innovative ideas and solutions for problem solving. It is not a map, diagram or chart type, though various proposals have been made for diagrams (including mind maps) to be incorporated into the method.
The best-suited to TRIZ that WikIT editors have seen is Southbeach notation. WikIT does not have a full article on TRIZ, but does cover the that notation.
