Catching up after all the work on the mind-mapping software interop repository, there are six new entries in the mind-mapping.org database this week.
MindNode
This is a new and simple mind mapper for the Mac.
Pimki
A personal wiki with a mind mapping capability based on GraphViz. No screenshots for this one – can anyone send me one? or three?
Marici
A Japanese, ‘social mind mapping’ web site that supports building a type of mind map.
Morcego
A 3D network viewer (taking an approach along the lines of Thinkmap).
yFiles and yEd
A software development kit offering an extraordinary range of visualization possibilities for networks, and a free tool developed with that kit.
My design for mind-mapping.org is for three images, so that’s all you’ll find there. I’m taking this blog post as a chance to show many more.
yFiles is costly – but it is not a one-use tool, it’s a tool to build tools.
