Here’s a carefully put together and attractive analysis of mind mapping for learning:
Here is the “Study Matrix 101 – Advanced Mind Mapping Strategies“.
A full-size pdf version is available for download as well.
It’s not just a pretty picture — there is a substantial accompanying article.

I surfed the web and found a pretty good mind map software. It’s called the OKMindmap. It has a lot of functions such as importing images, videos, frames of the internet source, chatting, embedding etc. You can also make students go in the map and you can make a mind map together. It’s very convenient. I hope you have a try because it’s really good! It also doesn’t need any plug-in installations. Since it’s an HTML5 based web browser software.
Thanks Robo. This mapper is already on my To Do list, but as its instructions are in Korean and Mind-Mapping.Org is all in English, I’m sorry to say that OKMindmap is inevitably rather low in my priorities.
