What they say[edit]
“The jsPlumb jQuery plugin provides a way to plumb elements of a UI together. It provides a means for a developer to visually connect elements on their web page, in much the same way you might have seen on Yahoo Pipes. It uses Canvas in modern browsers, and Google’s ExplorerCanvas script for stone-age browsers. Full transparent support for jQuery dragging is included, the API is super simple, and the compressed version of the script is just 10.5K.”
Observations[edit]
Allows the construction of networks in a browser window from dynamic information. To see it in action in a real application, take a look at http://tweetplumb.com/?q=jquery#jquery (example in the middle image). To try the demo, go to http://morrisonpitt.com/jsPlumb/html/demo.html
This is for web developers, it is not a stand alone program. Twitterplumb is available to try now though.
