What they say[edit]
“Make an awesome launch page for your daily browsing. A Middlespot mashtab lets you create multiple personalized start pages or topic pages from search results, webpages, files, videos, music, widgets and embed code you collect. Mash up your collection in a unique visual environment that lets you pan, zoom, group and drag, and even share it with others.
A Middlespot mashtab is a place to collect and visually manage your digital content, access your content from any browser anywhere, and share your unique collections with only those you want.
Middlespot mashtabs let you add anything from the web (search results, webpages, embeddable widgets, images) or your computer (documents, music, videos, pictures)and combine it all in a giant, unlimited workspace.
You can create an unlimited number of mashtabs that can contain up to 100 mb of data. See how others are using mashtabs”
Observations[edit]
Not a mapping application, but highly visual and supporting clustering. The free version already provides a useful application, but for $5/year, you get unlimited mashtabs, 200mb of space, file sizes up to 10mb, and on demand refresh of screenshots.
