What they say[edit]
“PAUX is software to develop, manage and publicize dynamic individualized content by linking reusable semantic content objects semantically.
PAUX takes a own path of knowledge representation by linking single objects such as words, sentences, pictures, persons etc. to a network.
Therefore, PAUX can be classified only partially in the area of existing systems like CMS/ECMS, Wiki, LMS or LCMS. The semantic content objects of PAUX are to make knowledge available as filterable content for Websites, semantic Wiki, detailed-evaluated eLearning and individualized print media.
PAUX is a knowledge management system written in Java and addresses enterprises (also publishing houses) as well as colleges, offices and other authorities.”
Observations[edit]
There is little information about the user interface at the site (other than that suggested by the image here), but it says ‘PAUX forms . . . multidimensional mindmap (and/or due to the semantics of the linkage more exactly: a concept map).’ I interpret this to be drawing an analogy of how information can be connected, rather than how it is presented. Probably this software does not have a graphical interface but the image hints at a tree-structured outline form. The product description indicates that its structure is not limited to a strict tree, but can support node cloning (multi-parent children).
Written in Java so I assume it is multi-platform, but I cannot see an explicit statement about platforms.
