What they say[edit]

“SimpleDiagrams is a small desktop application that helps you express your ideas quickly and simply. There’s just enough functionality to describe a thought or capture a process.

SimpleDiagrams keeps the visual expression clear through the simple design of library items and backgrounds.

  • Drag, drop and size symbols from libraries
  • Add photos and post-notes
  • Various background styles (chalkboard, whiteboard, etc.)
  • Save diagrams on your computer
  • Export your diagram to PNG”

Observations[edit]

On my first run, I experienced some bad behaviour (objects disappearing, black lines on almost black background), but that did not recur. The lack of a link between connectors and objects means that when you’re changing layout, you need to move object first then the connecting lines.
