Observations[edit]
Startree diagrams are closer to concept maps than mindmaps, in that they do not have a single central topic. The ability to drill down quickly and have the scene re-drawn on the fly and have multiple parents for a node makes Startrees similar to Thinkmap, Brain and 3D Topicscape.
