The term “mind map” is used in different ways. “How to make a mind map” talks about some of these ways, and the many reasons for mind mapping. Its aim is to help you choose what’s right for you next time you want to make a map. You’ll find step by step instructions and a wide range of examples.
Depending on what you need, “How to make a Buzan-style mind map” may be useful – it focuses on the style popularized by Tony Buzan when he coined the term in the 1970s. That’s a basic article, and is extended with my own commentary where I share some of my 30+ years of mapping experience in “Buzan’s mind map guidelines in practical use“.
